I am a licensed acupuncturist practicing in Illinois and is board certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).
My interest in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) began as a child growing up in a TCM family, both of my parents are prestigious TCM doctors and professors in China. I was fascinated by how effective that herbs and acupuncture worked when my parents treated patients. During my childhood time, herbs and acupuncture were routinely used as therapy for common ailments in the household. I worked alongside nationwide leading TCM doctors, professors in the space of acupuncture, herb medicine after I graduated from college with Bachelor of Science degree. During the five years of working in Institute of Basic Theory for Chinese Medicine, China Academy of TCM, I took full advantage of my time by involving myself in numerous clinic programs including Acupuncture for Musculo-skeletal chronical pain treatment, Acupuncture for women hormonal and fertility, Acupuncture for stress level management and Acupuncture for teenage insight eye treatment etc.
I found the clinic with specialty of pain management, such as lower back pain, neck pain, headache, arthritis, TMJ pain, frozen shoulder and post-operative pain. I also gets very good results for digestive system conditions and auto-immune disease, Allergies. What if my insurance does not cover acupuncture?
If you have an HSA or FSA account, you can use it to pay for acupuncture treatments. We are happy to provide itemized receipts for HSA or FSA purposes.
For those not able to use insurance or HSA, we do offer affordable rates for payment at time of service so that patients can afford to get the amount of care they need. We accept all major credit cards and cash as forms of payment. Additionally, we do offer package discounts.
